Natural Therapies Research Board

MISSION:

The Natural Therapies Research Board (NTRB) is organized for the purpose of researching the effectiveness of natural therapies interventions and the effect of governmental regulations on natural therapies interventions. The activities of NTRB are solely financed by the parent company (Envision 4 Health).

CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS:

NTRB is currently involved in three research projects with implications for natural therapies interventions:

1. The effect of olfactory subliminal levels of essential oils on stress and pain management
   
   
2. A study in the quality of relaxation attained by Quantum biofeedback devices compared to a standard GSR biofeedback device.
   
   
3. A review of the laws pertaining to traditional homeopathy and naturopathy in the USA and Canada.

COMPLETED RESEARCH PROJECTS:

The NTR Board has completed one project that is reported here and three other projects in natural therapies that will be fully reported by the end of the year:

1. A compliation of the regulations governing biofeedback in Canada, Europe and the USA. Biofeedback Regulations: What Every Biofeedback Professional Needs to Know About Govenmental Regulation of Biofeedback Services. Arising out of this research is another report on the Modern Trends in Biofeedback.
   
   
2. A compilation of the regulations governing nutritional advisors, consultants, conselors and marketers in Canada, Europe and the USA. Publication Pending.
   
   
3. A consensus report on nutrition based on the professional opinion of over 300 health and nutrition experts.
